Penny: Yes, Elanor, Henny and I represent the ancient and noble family Rock.
Henny: Oh, Penny...you don't need to be so stuck up! We're barred rocks, yes.

Midge: I know that Sophia is a red sex link, but I've forgotten your breeds Elanor and Marianne.
Audrey: What are they again? And Colonel as well?

Elanor: I am a Partridge rock. Now all I need is a pear tree.
Marianne: Buff Orp. Or if you want to be fancy, Murray Mcmurray Classic Buff-Colored Orpington.
Colonel: red sex-link. Which makes me as a rooster white with red wings.
Sophia: Red sex-link, or if you want to be fancy about it, I am a Highline Brown. (A commercial sex link)

Audrey: Marianne, we are hatchery buddies! All of us came from McMurray except Midge, Basil, and Gwynn!
Henny: Ah, yes. The classic buff colored orpingtons. Penny and I were hatched in an incubator right next to them.
Midge: Colonel, did you come from the same farm Sophia did?

Didn't you name Marianne and Elanor after Jane Austen characters? Does Colonel Brandon have a similar origin? I need to brush up on my classics!

Butch: I am one of two Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben roosters. We share our hens with 3 others. Guys that is. It seems to work out okay!
Many of us have been together since birth.
Patty Cake: These European guys just talk it up! I'm Patty Cake, one of two broody hens. We we're adopted into the flock not too long ago. We're EE-Game hen mixes.
MaMa: Hello! Number two broody hen here! I'm so much happier now, I was and still in pretty rough shape. I'm getting better everyday!
Sweet Peeps 1,2,3: Hi..Hi...Hi...peep....peep..Hi! We're cute and little new adopted into the flock chicks!
MaMa: Don't mind them, their only about 8 weeks! But still feathered enough to know better!
Senior Cip: Another Appezeller here!

Elanor: Ohh! What breed are you, Cheerio?
