Buttermilk: It is SO cold. SOOO COOLD.
Snap: I'm on my last part of molting!! I'm molting my hackle feathers.
Junior: I'm growing all my feathers back. Soon I'll be able to fly again!!!

Midge: I have laid eggs 3 days in a row now!

Louise: So have Henny, and Penny, and Audrey...

Akira: I don't really like laying eggs, so I don't usually.

Susan: Sal, it doesn't even taste that bad. It's no worse than grit!
Selena: It tastes like a mixture of grit and fish!

Junior: I hate oyster shells. They're so distasteful!!
Buttermilk: It's an essential to your diet!!!
Bisquick: Eh, I just eat them and then get a huge bite of layer feed. I eat it to keep my eggs looking nice.
Snap: I hate oyster shells, and I don't even need 'em. I'm on my last stage of molting!!! Coming down the homestretch. I'll really almost be done once I start growing back my hackle feathers!!!
Junior: I'm almost done molting too!!! I just have to grow back my wing feathers. And I finally have a tail!! It's a nice straight point. Not just some scraggly feathers.
Buttermilk: My feathers are still nice and shiny. Though, I had to spend quite a bit of preening today-
Bisquick: Like usual-
Buttermilk: Cause Mommy spilled oyster shells on me. So Bisquick, what's your excuse for not laying?
Bisquick: I-uh um and um- taking a break!! I'm not afraid to admit it.
Buttermilk: Bisquick, you're a disgrace to the New Hampshire breed.

Sunrise: I didn't lay any eggs today, and I'm a red sex-link. Besides, New hampshires are only supposed to lay 150 eggs a year. So you're only a disgrace to the breed it if you lay a hundred or less.
Selena: You're a disgrace to sex-links if you lay one fifty a year. (looks at Susan)
Susan: First of all, I layed pretty well up until last month, when I got sick, then started molting. Second of all, I am four years old.

Selena: I am three years old, Susan. I think I can adress my own diatary needs.
Susan: Then you would be as fat as a cornish cross, and lay shellless eggs daily.
Selena: well, I don't care, I'm not taking it!
Susan: If you don't like the taste, hold your beak.
[Sunrise holds Selena while Susan gives Sal a cupful of ground up oystershells and water.
Susan: there. Was that bad?
Selena: YES!!

Bisquick: Yea, but I went to go on there, and my stuff wasn't there!!!

Snap: Bisquick was your username-
