Bitey the Wench Hen

Various other crimes Bitey has committed recently:
- landed me a nasty wrist bite that's still healing. Ouch.
- Actively tried to fight my lover boy Behemoth who flirts with all the hens. she don't need no man.
- Actively yells when I'm on call with my partner


Good things Bitey has done recently:
- Scotty (my little bantam cochin rooster ) has befriended her and now they both hang out, Bitey likes to preen him and loaf by him.

I forgot to mention that her and her sisters all swarm and bite at my ankles now

Bitey is back again!

She had a bit of a time lately! She was overthrown as matriarch by her sister Stacey, had to go to the resting shed to recover and get a couple well needed baths. Once she recovered she went back to the run to reclaim her throne!

Uneasy rests the head that wears the crown! Alas, poor Bitey! I am glad to hear she tolerates being scooped. I don't know if that is a consolation to her ferocious heart or not. But it sounds cute.

I am so very sorry. She was a remarkable hen! Too bad she couldn't bitey whatever it was into submission. I bet she gave it some hell on the way out!
