Just retrieved this egg...very bizarre shape!

I have one of those! I boiled it yesterday! I called it the snake egg. I'll go see what mine looks like.
um, just an egg. yummy -but only one yolk, and no snake . (I usually save the weird ones for my husband. He'll eat just about anything.)

Ba ha ha ha! My kids got a kick out of this one, too! I had a Welsummer hatch out of a similar egg...I had to help it after all the other eggs hatched. She was "backwards" with her face at the pointy end. I wouldn't rule out a double yolker, but my guess...it's a single yolk. Thanks for sharing that pic!
