bizzar situation of feeding squabs.... I'm so confused.... helpppppp

Very beautiful. ....... you've had lots of squabs!!!! Your daughters are so beautiful and cute.... and you have visiting deers!!! Lovely place you're living in!!

We lived in the country when we first moved here. Now that the mortgage is done. My back property line now borders on the city limits.

Yes we have deer around all year (always one in the freezer) I have about 25 birds and do dove releases at weddings, funerals, and special occasions. I am a country boy at heart and my wife and I would not fit into a subdivision with out problems.

Thank you for the compliments.

Yeah.. for our family it's the same we just can't fit in apartments and buildings...... country boy too... the dove release is so much enjoying. .... but do you know what happens to them after release... would they dye of hunger as they were raised in captivity??

My so called doves are actually White homing Pigeons and are capable of returning home from a 600 mile toss in a perfect world.

Most releases are in a 60 mile radius of home. They can get home before me by car. They have a Belgium heritage and are true athletes.

Do not get me wrong I do loose birds to hydro wires, cars, hawks, but fly is what they are born and love to do. Most predators can not catch them only by ambush or while they are immature.

I think I loose more to predators and incidents around the house and neighbourhood then I do from tosses. While they are young and training is when they are most venerable.
