This is just what I was looking for ! I just hatched 3 chicks Mom is a BCM and dad is a lavender orpington. He was my only rooster and I had to rehome him but also wanted a chance to see if they would lay those beautiful dark eggs like momma. They are a week old and look just like the bcm as of right now.
A black copper marans crossed with a lavender Orpington....... He weights over 8 lbs def took the orps weight
