I'm new to chickens and just trying to make sure I have the sexes right. This one is about 19 weeks old and has shown dominant personality but would be the second cockrel in the bunch (he is the lesser dominant) if he is a cockrel lol. Would love input, thanks!

If it's a pure ameraucana then I'm going to guess male. If it's from a farm store or hatchery (often sold as "americana") then it could very well be a female close to laying age. My pure ameraucana females have a light pink, tight, comb at 19 weeks and don't start laying until close to 26 weeks.

It's from a farm store so fingers crossed it's a pullet. Thanks!
