I bought this little one at TSC 2 days ago along with some other various bantams. It was a new shipment and it was the only one like it in the bin. This TSC gets most of their chicks from Mt. Healthy. In person the coloring looks more black and white. The wing tips are snow white. The chick is clean legged. I'm just curious as to what type it is. Thanks for any ideas!

So glad you got chicks from my healthy. Most Texas TSC use Privity hatchery in New Mexico. They are horrible. Worst chicks I've ever seen. against better judgement, I rescued a handful of bantams hoping to at least make them comfortable. 2 of 7 have been close to death, but I pulled them through. 5 of 7 had lacerations on head and back. And 3 were covered in dried too from hatching. I feel like wonder woman after all I've dine over past 2 weeks. they sure are spoiled after being given the riyal treatment

Sorry for all the misspells above. Stupid auto correct. Its Privett hatchery in new mexico. Chicks were covered in dried amniotic fluid. They get royal treatment

Glad that your rescues are getting the royal treatment from you. I've heard that some hatcheries are worse than others. I'm in West Virginia and the chicks at our TSC's here are generally clean and healthy looking. I purchased 8 bantams Thursday but only four of them have made it.
