Black Arcaunas or Hybrids or ???

These pullets were sold as Black Arcaunas. It does not matter but I am not sure that's an accurate breed description.
They are 15 weeks old, pleasant, get along well with theior brooder mates.

Araucanas are tufted, bearded, and rumpless. Sorry to say you didn't get what you were sold. You got crossbreds of some kind.

In the US Araucana can not have beards. Beards are a DQ.
There are also Araucana with and without tufts. Tufts are linked with lethal genes. You need to breed tufted to none tufted to get any kind of hatch rate.

OPs birds don't appear imo to have any Araucana blood not to mention they're not even black.
