Black Arcaunas or Hybrids or ???

These birds are 15 weeks old now. They were sold as Black Arcaunas, I'm wondering if they are EEs instead or something else.
It doesn't much matter except as a curiosity. They have a nice disposition and get along well with their "brooder mates": 4 Buff Orpingtons and a Banty.

An Araucana has ear tuffs and no tail or rumples w/blue eggs. I'm thinking these could be Easter Eggers - rainbow colors from blueish to brown - usually light brown. Ameraucanas (sp) have beards & muffs (always both) blue to blue-green to green eggs. It is the most confusing trio of breed types. I think the best place I found and explanation was on a web site called The Chicken Chick.
