black astrolorp coloring!!!

It's possible it is a black sexlink no doubt.. But i just wanted to say that many black's in just about every breed can and will throw red feathers in the necks.. It's just "bad quality" (Show wise).. I've even seen a pure australorp that came from a great line come out a brown red (or black red depending on the breed, Where you're from. etc).. ONE TIME.. Just how things go. And if it came from a feedstore-Came from a hatchery-Could be crossed, Or it could just be a bad quality australorp..

Either way it's hard to tell what's in you're lines unless you created the breed, and the breeds used to create the breeds etc.. and only bred them yourself without handing them off to somone else who could have added a new breed to make it more healthier or for whatever reason..
