Heres one of my pullets at 5 weeks.Awesome! I’ll get the pics off my camera week by week to let y’all see for sure what you think. This one does stand like a young cockerel which concerns me.

Thank you! I’ve thought cockerel all along, and I’m just glad I’ve got a place for him to go!Im sorry, but i think cockerel. Those wattles are still getting quite bigger as time has gone on. Id let him go to your friend and do the trade so he can get settled in and started on forming bonds within his new flock throughout the summer.
I read/hear a lot of stories on here about owners getting rid of they're chicks online to find out that people voted 9/10 Cockrel but in fact it was a pullet. Always best to wait it out. I myself go crazy trying to play the guessing game. Time will tell.Okay good news then! I had 8 people vote cockerel when I originally posted this so I had no hope of this being a pullet.
I go crazy playing the guessing game too! If I didn’t have a rooster already I’d wait this one out for sure! I just don’t want my roo to fight with him.I read/hear a lot of stories on here about owners getting rid of they're chicks online to find out that people voted 9/10 Cockrel but in fact it was a pullet. Also looks like a pullet in my opinion. Different breeds develop differently![]()
