Hey guys,
I have a 3-week Black Australorp sold as a pullet by a local feed store in Connecticut.
This chick got her wing and tail feathers very quickly, however, her back/neck feathers started coming in this week. Very small comb, and no signs of wattle yet. This chick complains a lot when I pick her up, though, loves resting on my finger. I think this chick looks like a girl, but I wonder why at 3 weeks she just started feathering out on her neck and back.
Can anyone help me identify her gender based on the pics posted. I am new at raising chicks. I've been doing a lot of research on each breed i own, but I want someone else's input regarding the gender based on the pics.
