That is definitly a hen. It would've had saddle feather by now.

Saddle feathers aren't in until about 12 weeks and they start crowing at 8 weeks to 5 months.

True, but in my experience the latest crower was 3 months. Voice changed in chirps for my latest one for a while but just didn't want to crow.

I had a rooster that didn’t crow until 7 months old and I’ve heard of up to a year or more. Not all roosters are early bloomers LOL

Yea, not all of them are early bloomers. Your roo probably still wanted to be a baby. But by 7 months you should be able to tell the gender.

Oh yeah I definitely knew he was a rooster much earlier than 7 months lol
