Black Australorp chicken

The black Australorp is a very friendly breed of chicken and is good with children....all people really. It is a quieter breed and is great for a place with a big neighborhood. Buuuut, I'm not sure about roosters, I think THEY are still loud.

Hello! I have a particular question that I am curious about. Do Australorps normally get along with different breeds? I had one that was bossy but she was my only one. Was I just unlucky? You definitely seem to be more experienced about the breed.

I ordered 10 to come in 3 weeks. I ordered a roo too. I had a Australorp girl I got by mistake from a hatchery fowl up years ago and she was the nicest chicken. I heard the Roos are also gentle and easy to get along. I’m just getting back into chickens after a 8 year hiatus. We also ordered 5 Easter Eggers, 10 Plymouth blues, 10 isa browns.
