Black Australorp Female? or Male?

I bought a black australorp about 3 months ago (12 weeks old) and she was supposed to be a girl. Now that she (or he) is growing up I don't know which it is anymore. Can anyone help please?
also it made a funny noise today...sorta like a small trumpet...or a kazoo

so funny you mentioned the kazoo sound because thats what I named the last unplanned RIR cockerel I got and I told everyone it was "kazooing". I don't rehome because you can NOT trust other people to take kind care of "your" critters so we made quick work of kazoo and had kazoo soup(I do truely love all of my animals and he was happy til the end)
