My Black Australorp is almost 6 weeks, supposed to be a girl... I am hoping

however she started the pink wattles around 3.5 weeks- the only thing that makes me think roo is that and the fact that she seems to stand very tall compared to the others. Her legs seems the same size thickness as my red star females...but she is def the tallest. what do you think? Maybe too early?

Looks very rooish to me. My BA girls were very slow to mature, and got their combs and wattles at an agonizingly slow pace. Just my guess, though!

thats what I thought.... the little guy/girl was very pudgy from the get go and her stance just seems rooish to me, it's def different than the others. She's the only Australorp so I cant compare to anyone but my other chicks-red stars, BO & BR.

The Australorp is the only one with any noticable pink in the wattle area and the comb is starting to get a bit pink, more so in these pics than I had noticed in person!!!

nothing says roo to me yet. post some more pics when she turns 10-12 weeks
