Black Australorp hasn’t started laying

So just so I understand. You have several chickens, all the same age, 28 weeks old. Only one of them is a Black Australorp and she is the only one not yet laying, is that right? You know this because... how? She is the only one that would lay a brown egg? Or ... ? You might have answered this already and I missed it, so please bear with me.
Yes I keep track of who is laying eggs each day. I only have 7 chickens so it’s easy to tell which chicken is laying what egg. I go out to check on them many times during the day and see which chicken is laying at that moment. And so far the black Australorp hasn’t laid any. Usually we get 4-5 eggs a day and I always have caught the chickens in the act.

My advice is to leave the chickens alone all day and see what happens. Collect the eggs toward the end of the day, about 3 in the afternoon. It's possible your Australorp would like a little privacy. If you can't do that, see if you can collect just twice a day, maybe at 10 in the morning and again in the afternoon. Try this for about a week and see if your egg count improves. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

Thanks! I don’t go in the coop at all , there’s a small window I can see the nest boxes so that’s how I check.
