Black Australorp or Black Jersey Giant?

That's why I figured she's probably just a poorly bred Australorp, might have a faster developing breed in her ancestry to throw the yellow legs. My other two Australorps with white feet just started laying at 23 weeks.

My smaller (normal sized) BA started at about 23 weeks. She gets back to work faster post moult than any of my other hens and she lays in the winter. The bigger one, pushing up to JG size I would bet, didn't lay until she was 6 months old. She's never been a great layer - goes broody and doesn't lay in the winter. She is doing a good job raising the 7 chicks though.

My 3 " Black Australorps" 2 with pinkish feet 1 with yellow

This is "Ashes", one of my Murry McMurry "Layer Variety" pullets. She does have yellowish feet, on the bottoms, a BLACK comb, grey legs, bluish/purplish tint to her feathers in direct sunlight, a white specks here and there on her feathers that are growing in silky black. So, what is she?

Hi! Two of my nine hens are BJGs and they are really sweet! I think yours are Black Austrolorps because of their feathers. My BJGs in the sun are green and blueish. They are really shiny. BAs are more matte and all black. ~ChickenFarmer03

Is it possible shes a mix? They may make hybrids occasionally then breed back to improve genetics then have to get rid of the off standard ones somehow. I have never heard of any one breed like that
