Looking to rehome ~4 mo old Black Australorp rooster, Percy. (Can't have roos.) ... We got him as a day old chick March 26. He's been hand-raised and is smart, sweet and protective of the girls. Just starting to bring in the aqua on his feathers. (Side shot is from 2 weeks ago, others are this week. In the side shot, he is with an Easter Egger hen, same age. In the bottom, he's next to a buff orpington hen and a black australorp hen of the same age. He is bigger. ... In all pictures, they are free-ranging with me while I garden.) He is quiet for a rooster - only crows when it's important.
