Black Australorp turning white

Perhaps an Austra white? They are a cross between Australorp and white Leghorn, I believe, and are sold by some hatcheries.

It kind of looks like maran, look at the attached picture..

She is splash, not mottled

She doesn’t look splash to me (the pictured marans is splash), since she’s white with black spots instead of light gray with blue spots.

Thats very interesting! Thanks! Also, mottled is a restrictive gene right? Is it where black is restricted from the tip of each individual feather?

Not exactly, since mottling isn’t always on black. Usually there is some black on a feather that is mottled, which is why it’s so hard to get a self buff mottled chicken.
