Black Australorp?

I was given a cockerel and told he was a black Australorp. However, I have a couple black Australorp pullets and their legs are darker than the cockerel's. Can someone help determine what breed this cockerel is please?

To me Australorp have this "face" and he has it most of the time hatcheries get the leg color wrong

Its about impossible to know for sure. So many solid black birds that are actually crossbreds that get lumped into pure bred categories, especially Australorp. If you know its a hatchery bird, its likely an Australorp. If not its just as likely to be a crossbred.

yup that's a black Australorp I have one they look the same!

This is not a hatchery bird to my knowledge. I was given him and a trio of Cream Legbars. I will look at the bottoms of his feet.
