I picked these 2 up at my local TSC in a bin that was labeled Black Australorps and Ameracaunas. Is there such a thing as splash Australorps or do black Australorps have this much white as chicks? They seem to have a lot of white and their legs are black but they have pink/white feet. I've had them for about 3 weeks now - pictures are from the day I brought them home and today. Are they even Australorps?

Too young to tell the gender, look like australorps to me. It is possible to get splash ones

Yes, there are Splash Australorp's, but they don't look like the one's in the pictures above. I used to raise the B/B/S Australorp's before I started working with the Naked Necks that I am doing now.The Splash Australorp chick's look like the lightest colored one's here in my picture:

what color are those feets? I can't tell in the pics. If they're pink, then they're austrolorps. If they're yellow, then they're black jersey giants.

also, Tractor Supply doesn't sell Ameraucana, unfortunately. They mis-label easter eggers as AmerIcana and its very misleading.

They have pink feet. I'm happy most seem to think they were accurately labeled and are indeed Black Australorps! Now let's just hope they were accurate on the pullet part too :)

I also picked up two of their sneaky AmerIcana pullet chicks to fill the minimum of 4 chicks. I honestly knew very little about them and was more interested in getting the Australorps, but I'm hoping I'll get some pretty colored eggs!

That's the thing about EEs, you never know what your gonna get. You could get brown or pinkish... you can also get blue or green. My EE hen lays a lovely mint green egg. Not sure on my younger one, as she hasn't started yet.
