It appears that I may have two cockrels in the hen house. What do you think? Also, generally speaking, how vocal are your Australorp Roos? When I figure out how to upload a picture, I will do so.

Please make yourself at home and we are here to help. It would help us sex your australorps if we could see pics. I've never owned australorps but I do know that they sometimes are vocal. Also, you may get more responses if you post this question in the https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this along with some pics.

Hello there and Welcome to BYC!

Aussies in general are very docile friendly birds. I don't keep an Aussie Roo, but I do keep hens, and they are very nice, quiet, calm and sweet.

Good luck if you do have a roo and welcome to our flock!

All rooster breeds that I've ever had are vocal, but my BA roosters have been less vocal than most. In general, the BAs have wonderful personalities--very docile, friendly, and quiet (for chickens).
