Black Austrolorps with gold necks????

I have two three month old Black Austrlorps that are developing some golden feathering in their upper neck area??? Kindof under the black feathering of the neck. Do we have the wrong breed???
My daughter is entering these in 4-H and we want to make sure we have what we were told we bought!!!!!!

Black with gold feathering (and clean legs, I assume) leads me towards Black Sex-Links. Pictures would help!
