Black broilers from Ideal

I got 12 black broilers from ideal. Has anyone had these? What was your experience? Also does anyone know what the breeds they used to cross them are? I've heard jersey giant or austrolop crossed with a dark cornish. Im just curious. I really wanted to try a meat bird that was a slower grower. Im curious to see how this goes.

I don't have any experience with them but I'm interested in the concept.

The only thing I've heard about them thus far is horrendous mortality rates. I'm interested to see as more people try them how they hold up, grow and finish.

Can you post some pics as they grow?

I haven't had any losses. They are almost 2 weeks old and doing great. I will upload pics of them when I can.
