Black bugs and spots on hens head and comb

Has anyone been able to identify and recommend a treatment I am down to my last hen from 6 all died in the last year

I lost 3 baby chicks due to these bugs, as well. I don’t know what they are but my chicks had them around their faces, eyes, head area. I lost a rooster and a chicken. Another mama hen has 5 chicks and they, also, have them. Mama scratches too much. I’m not too sure what gets rid of them. I’ve cleaned their coop, dusted it with diatomaceous earth. Sprayed a mixture of water, dawn, and vegetable oil that supposedly kills mites that fall off of chickens. I’m afraid I will start losing my chickens as well.
