Black caruncle on wild muscovy drake.

Yes - he's definitely reverting to wild type.

Most of the ducks have the natural black with some white, but a few are mainly white with back and a couple have some barring. Someone's pets must have escaped for those patterns to happen.

There's only two drakes that have the black on their face, the rest are red.

I saw this guy in a hospital pond, the majority of his caruncle is black. Is this Normal for wild muscovies? I'm just curious about it.

Buddy is wild he was here when I moved here but he's part of the family now
