Just wanted to share some photos of our beautiful 4 month old Black Cayugas we ordered from Cackle this year. They are not noisy like the Pekins and are a wonderful addition to the barnyard!

I have 3 Cayugas. Drake and his Son & Daughter. Neighbor's bird dog killed the Hen.

I also have a Cayuga/Muskovy X Hen.

Edited to add: and 1 doz eggs on the way as I'm typing this.

We can't wait until they start to lay. The eggs are supposed to be black at first! We really enjoy them.

very nice. i have one cayuga that hangs with my pekins and ancona duck. i'm gonna get more cause aside from being quiet she is just as cute as my others. i love when the sun hits their feathers.

Just a heads-up on the color. My Hen always laid eggs that were a medium smokie grey.
