Black chicken questions

I have several young, black chickens. Two were very easy to figure out were cockerels, two are easily females. I have one that has me stumped. I was told they are all Ameracaunas, but I bellieve she's an Austalorp. What has me stumped is her coloring. She does have some dark rust coming thru on her back and shoulders, but everything else about her points to pullet, but I thought rust meant cockerel????


My farm manager took a couple of roosters off my hands today, but he wouldn't take this one as he believes she's a pullet. Help!

It is a Easter Egger...but I think it is a little roo....about how old are they? but due to the rust on the back and shoulders and the blue/green sheen he is giving off I would say it is a roo....but man he is a beauty....if I were you I would keep him
