Black Cochin Bantam Hen Or Not???

Months ago i got three hens from this guy and he said they were black cochin bantam hens. Well I only have one left now and i never really looked into what they actually were. I never could make up my mind about wether or not he was telling the truth about what they were.She has fuzzy feet, but she never really looked like the other cochins that i have seen. She is about a year old, give or take a few months. Has been laying eggs for a while now. It isn't going to break my heart if she isn't a cochin bantam, i think she is a pretty awesome little hen anyways, but curiosity has got the best of me. All replies are welcomed good or bad.



She likes to turn the wrong way when i am trying to take pictures of her.

Her face looks like a EE but the feathered feet throw me...she looks like a hen.

Nope, she's a mix. Cochins aren't bearded and their feet are supposed to be heavily feathered (at least the middle toe and outside of the legs toes should be feathered). She looks like the EE x Cochins I used to have. She's really cute!

Thanks, I had a pretty strong feeling that she wasn't really full blooded cochin. o well i still love her and i only paid $5 for her so not a big deal. Thanks
