Hey. Kinda new here.
These are my about 3-4 month hens. I do have 2 month or two older hens who would pick on them and the rooster would too when they were tiny.
Not anymore, and when I put 5 baby chicks to get fresh air, these girls (Goldie (fast as I know a calico Cochin) and the brown one (peep) looks to be a Cochin silkie mix??
But I wana be 100% sure about the gender at least. Please lmk if these pics help at all, if not I’ll definitely post again with better angles. I’d look at their vents but they’re FASTTT!!!
Lovely. Only worried bc the calico is so beautiful and I always thought beautiful birds were males, and the brown one than peep, bc some of her tail feathers look to be green.
BROWN W/SOME GREEN TAIL FEATHERS=PEEP
CALICO COCHIN (AS FAR AS I KNOW) = GOLDIE

I think I see shiny, pointy saddle and hackle feathers on Peep, which indicates rooster. He also stands tall like a roo. I had a silkie mixed roo whose head looked just like Peep's head as well.
