Black Cochin Bantams

We have some black cochin bantam chicks. How do you tell if they are roosters or pullets? Or can you not tell until they are older? Thanks!

I'd say around a month or two to tell on most chicks.

I would love to see pictures. I have two that are almost two weeks old. So tiny, and precious.

By 5 weeks you should know for sure. Boys get red wattles and combs by then. Girls have no wattles and a small almost non existent flesh coloured comb. They are gorgeous bantams.

They are very!! They have fuzz on their feet so cute!!
