All i know is that we left the house for about an hour, and all of the chickens were in their coop/run... when we came back, 3 chickens were missing: our silver laced polish, and those two cochins... all of our buff orpingtons and normal layer chickens were still there... not a feather was on the ground or out of place... all of the doors were shut tight. none of the birds were small enough to have been dragged through the wire... no holes under or over the run... we're pretty convinced they were stolen... a few disgruntled people in the area have chickens... wouldn't surprise me. they only took the decorative chickens... left the layers alone...
