Black copper maran 3-4 week. Rooster or hen?

Hi everyone I’m new here and have only been raising chickens for a few months. One of my new additions is a black copper maran. I am almost positive it’s a rooster from the comb and developing waddles. I figured I’d get another opinion though since I don’t have any other Marans. I don’t want to rehome this chick but I have two other roosters and unfortunately can not keep any more. So any advice is welcome. Should I wait until the chick is older or is this for sure a rooster I should start trying to rehome? Thanks

Yes, his comb and waddles developed early to be THIS prominent. He will be a good-looking, attractive cockerel when he matures and obtains full plumage. I have raised 20 Black Copper Marans and never had one as distinguished as yours.

eta: BTW... this is a cockerel, not a rooster. He won't be a rooster until he's a year old. Similarly, a female wouldn't be a hen until she was a year. Until then, she'd be known as a pullet.
