Black Copper Maran abscess?

My chick was hatched on the 29th, it seems to have an abscess or something on its neck. I’ll include two pictures, one is how it looks totally swollen and the other is how it looks head on, a bit more swollen on that side. Is this normal? I’m new to chickens so it very well could be and I’ll be embarrassed.

It might be the chick’s crop, where they food is stored after eating, before moving on to the gizzard. It is located in the right upper chest. In the pic below, the baby on the left has a full crop.
