Black Copper Maran chicks deformed toes

With any “fancy” breed, you may encounter abnormalities. The marans breeds are being propagated aggressively, due to the desirable egg colors. If you have no intention of breeding and showing your birds, maybe let them live out their life as nature sees fit? Any ”minor“ abnormalities that don’t affect their quality of life, can be ignored. Enjoy your birds, and the fruits(eggs) of their labors. May they live long and provide many hours of entertainment!:pop
