Black Copper Maran Eggs

I've emailed Bev and have gotten ZERO response

Very disappointing as this is one of the main breeds I want to focus on

I see...... Her site seemed very put together, so I figured maybe something was up.... but didn't see any notes on the site. I keep checking my mail. Hopefully all goes as well as it can when something like that happens.

edited to add..... Thanx for the heads up

Bev is very nice to deal with - I've always gotten responses to my e-mails. However, I recently received my order of Copper Blacks that I'd been on the list for for quite a long time, and it's looking like the results of the hatch are not going to be very good at all. We'll wait and see (today is day 19), but it sure is diappointing what the post office apparently can do to eggs. Sigh.

These were the eggs I've been dreaming of. But, some day. Hopefully!! (We had put another batch of eggs in a few days before the Copper Blacks, and they are hatching well, so it was apparently the post office that's hindering this hatch.)

Hey Wynette... I am sometimes up in the Newaygo area (Grandparents have a cabin there).... maybe in the future we can split some Marans..... Next year I am hoping to drive and get some rather than ship.. if all works out.

If any of you are still interested in marans of any color, please email me and I can point you to some additional breeders of quality birds with good egg color.

Mine are not as dark as Bev or Rons, but I do have them available

I've got some of Bev's Wheaten Marans due to hatch this week-end. Her eggs are nice and dark. She is back in England taking care of her father's estate. She mailed my eggs right before she left. She generally has long list.....I waited from last fall until the end of April for my name to get to the top of the list.
