Black copper maran male?

I posted about this a while back, and I was told that he was indeed a black copper maran male, but I’m getting doubts now seeing how much red he’s got? Any ideas? @Chooks man or anyone else?

A local breeder who has BCM’s and other breeds as well. Mostly breeds blue and black copper marans, rir’s, and black australorps.

He almost looks like an RIR/Marans mix. Unless they’re kept in separate pens?

I’m not sure, but I have to agree as I’m pretty sure a true black copper maran would have a black chest?
