Black copper Moran rooster. Hatched August 2018 from a farm in Cambridge Ohio. He now resides in North West Pataskala near New Albany and Johnstown. We call him Mojo JoJo. JoJo needs a new home. His girls are older than him and are all done laying eggs, which means they are pretty much done with him. I have some young pullets, but I am not interested in introducing this rooster to them. I have been letting him free range around my 5 acres, but in the past couple of weeks he has decided to explore further and is becoming a nuisance for my neighbors. He needs a new home.
He’s a good boy. He does not chase or fight. He leaves my kids and dogs alone, however, if I mess with his hens or babies, he gets defensive as he should. I used to spend some time with him and pick him up, but I haven’t been able to do that for the past two years due to being back in school. So he shys away from being picked up now. I would prefer for you to pick him up in the evening so I can just get him out of the coop. So we would be aiming for somewhere around dusk. Bring your own crate/box and I will load him up for you. If you are more residential, check your city ordinances to see if you can have him. He does call out with the rising sun and you will hear him periodically during the day
