Not all bad, it is Marans, which means darker eggs, but will not be as dark as BCM. You can use him to get to Olive Eggs if you have a blue layer, or EE, but it won't be dark....and all the chicks will be cuckoo'd (stripey) from him. But you did get your Marans. LofMc
