YES THIS IS A HEN. This is the hen that has white streaks on her earlobes that I have been advised not to use for breeding. Sorry it would be less confusing if they had names I suppose... but since I wasn't sure if I was keeping them I haven't bothered naming them yet LOL.
My only rooster is the mahogany fellow above. His wing triangle is black, but the day was extremely bright and my camera is not very good, so some of the black is reflecting as brown in the sunlight I suppose because a lot of people are asking me if they have brown on them. Thanks for asking. I really do want a decent start that's why I keep posting and asking for opinions, like Don's signature line says I don't want to waste years on "junk." But at the same time this breed is so difficult to find a good start in.
