Yes he has a single comb

I would say it's mixed with marans...it's got a bunch of different shades in his neck.

Note that there are no feathers in the shanks at all. Neck coloring reminds me of a duckwing type bird.

He may have some BCM in him, but I'm guessing that guy is a cross or an OEG. The comb looks like it's lacking points, but it could just be the pic.

He's not a Marans at all .... he has a pea-comb .
Looks to be mixed game ..... maybe a 'Heinz 57'

Can you take a picture of his comb, an above view from his front? Looks like a single to me.
