The birds I posted pictures of a few months ago have really grown. They are 6 months old. This is Antonio and Gabby.

Hello!
I am having nothing but dismal hatches with my bcms. I think maybe humidity is my problem being way too high. First 18 at 53 and the 60 for lock down. I will have to try what you are doing. Oh! Do you have a fan in your incubator? Apparently that changes humidity needs?

Thank you.

I use the hands on hatching thread and have learned so much. You may want to give that a try. I keep my temps at 35 to 40 percent until lock down then up it to 65 to 70 percent. I do all shipped eggs so I don't get 100 percent hatch rate but pretty close. :) temp needs to be 37.5 degrees celsius. This is all info for a forced air incubator. If you use still air @AmyLynn2374
Knows alot more and could probably give much better advice. :)

I hatched 5 out of 6 marans eggs in my brinsea 20 eco with a fan. Ran humidity at 38%-48% from day 1 until day 17, day 17 is my lockdown day and I keep humidity above 65% until hatch has completed.

Only 7 of my eggs in that hatch were Marans, only 1 of the marans were infertile, everything else was olive eggers, orpingtons and OEGBs.
