Congratulations Jan..........How very special for you to be involved in such a positive way in such an important event...!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Sew... It was so nice to have California represented so well by Peter... He is soooo cool... Total hang 10 kinda fella... LOVE IT!!!

He did so well!!! I totally want to toss some stock and eggies into the sun down there and have a go... I thnk there is something coming up... I have 3 cuckoo eggies I would throw on an eggie table... (that is all I have that is good right now)

Here's one of our hens we got last year as a pullet so she's about 10 months old? Do all hens carry the feathered legs? (my apologies for my ignorant question)

Not all hens carry feathered legs... That is a very nice hen Scio... I have a long backed rooster for her...

she is gorgeous!!! I am cyberpetting!!!

Thanks Geebs, I'm still learning (will take a long time me'thinks). Here are a couple more pics of the gang that my son accidentally allowed into the larger coop yard. My BCMs, black sexlink, Leghorns and some buff cross a guy had been doing for jumbo sized egs.

I guess my Rooster is a bit short backed as well so now the chicks will have no back? ROFL...I am on the lookout for another 'roo and have a couple from my original guy that are just about a month old but of course, I haven't a clue as to which hen was the mom. How do you guys do that unless you put them in battery cages or something similar? Most of my hens see an egg in one of the boxes and then everyone piles in to lay theirs.

Uh Scio... I have your rooster... He is young yet... I think we did this already... I have a couple that are babies... I specialize in long backs... Color balance may not be 100 percent but I do put a long back on em...

Well Geebs, I need to get up there! Another roo would suit me just fine! Sooooo......I have dog shows this coming weekend and not a good time probably, am usually worn out from the long drive and running around the rings all day. But definitely lets schedule a visit the first week of March if possible? Thanks for helping me out with everything! (and congrats on your wins at the recent Maran show!)
