sgtmom - that cockerel has a HUGE side sprig and should not be used for breeding. His eyes are a bit light for my taste, and his shank feathering is a bit too sparse. He has good qualities, but honestly, due to the sprig he really should be culled.
Your gals are overmelanised...(too dark) - I like the conformation of the gal in the last pic, and that picture is a perfect example of a picture that we can really see good details in. It's always best to take pics from the bird's level so you can see the outline. She appears to have good type, but she looks a might light, though she should fill out. ALL MY amateur opinion, however!!
