They both look like pullets. By 14 weeks, the male saddle feathers and big red combs would be obvious for those breeds.

. Would you be able to take a look at these two new ones we adopted? We are not sure on the breed, or, Americanas or black copper. Originally, they were part of our straight run, but my in-laws have had these for about a month or so. We adopted them back after we had two roos, however, I need to know if these are cockerels or pullets, as we cannot have males. Two pics is of the black and the other photo, of the grey. Breeds? Male or female?

They look like Easter Egger/Marans mixes. The gray is a pullet. The black one is definitely a cockerel.

You don't mention the age, but if they are the same age, around 14 weeks, then the black is definitely a rooster.

I think they are likely Marans/Ameraucana or Marans/EE mix as well....so essentially Olive Eggers.
