They will be 17 weeks on Monday. Still no sex feathers, but have the most developed/reddest combs and wattles I've ever seen on young pullets. I'm assuming they were correctly sexed as pullets and are just funky due to being hatchery stock. Thoughts?
My BCM has big wattles/comb and she looked really red for months and months before she started laying (and showed me that she had a deeper shade of red and more growing to do!). But, she's so round in the body that there was just no mistaking her gender.
