Black Copper Marans

Awhile back posted that my Black Copper Maran hen wasn't sitting so I pulled eggs and hatched in incubator.6 of the 12 hatched,but only one has feathers on legs, both my adults have them.
Do they come later???

Rarely will a chick "Grow" in leg feathers, I say its a recessive gene that got passed on.
