Country mothers learn very quickly to empty all the pockets of their male children's clothing before doing laundry.A lady from my church told me her son used to collect worms and pebbles. She had to turn his pockets inside out and scrape them before putting them in the washer, otherwise there would be a bunch of rocks rattling around during the cycle and dead soggy worms floating around.
